What is SwPt?

SwPt is a site created to serve the Swing community and to provide information about it. The site offers several services to its members, who can, among other things, build their profile page, upload photos, music and videos, chat, and meet other members of the Swing community.

What is the registration process?

Registration on SwPt begins by filling out the registration form available on the site's main page. To do so, you must be of legal age and have read and accepted the site's Terms of Use. After the form is filled in and submitted, it may be reviewed to ensure the data was entered correctly. During this time, you may already edit your own profile and add some details. Next, the individual or couple member's profile is certified using the means provided by SwPt to confirm the profile's authenticity. Once this process is successfully completed, the account is activated.

How long does certification take?

Certification should not take more than 24 hours after the member submits their certification photograph. However, during periods of reduced staff availability, this may extend to up to 72 hours.

What size can my music, photos and videos be?

It depends on your member status. Check your account to see your current member status and the actions you are authorised to perform. You can also upgrade your account, which may allow you a larger amount of files.

What types of accounts and member status exist?

There are several member types, with profile creation available for Couples and Singles. We distinguish between three types of member status: Basic, Premium and VIP.

All SwPt members, once their registration is confirmed and their account activated, become Basic members (Couple accounts) or Premium members (Single accounts) with some limitations on the use and features of the site.

Once the profile is certified and a Couple or Female Single account is activated, the SwPt member has access to the basic features of the site.

With a Couple or Female Single account, in order to enjoy SwPt 100%, with several exclusive features, you can change your status by upgrading to a VIP member.

Due to the high number of existing registrations, in order to maintain the proportion between couples and singles, all Male Single registrations, while inactive members, have restricted access to some of the site's features so they can choose an account upgrade. The activation of a Male Single account profile is therefore always conditional on the payment of a fee, the value of which depends on the type of account chosen (Male Premium account or Male VIP account).

All the different upgrade types available for each account type, as well as their respective price and subscription duration, can be consulted directly on the site, on the upgrade pages accessible from various links.

I have a Club, is there registration for Clubs and Event Organisers?

SwPt provides access to account registration for Clubs, Event Organisers and similar entities. Activating a Club account or an account for an entity that organises events is free of charge as long as the requested requirements are met (for more information, follow the instructions on the site or contact us by email at marketing@swpt.org).
